Luka was home educated for most of his schooling. In Year 10, he decided to explore his options for senior secondary. He didn’t want to return to mainstream school and wanted a more supported environment than full-time TAFE.

Luka chose IDEA because of the opportunities and personalisation on offer. He graduated with a Certificate III in Information Technology and over 400 hours of work placement to his portfolio. Inspired by his research for his IDEA graduate project, Luka undertook a work placement with a cabinet maker. His work ethic and enthusiasm led to an offer of a cabinet making apprenticeship, which he commenced immediately after Graduation from IDEA.
