Rebecca Loftus

Rebecca has worked in the education sector for over a decade as a high school STEM teacher and curriculum manager. She became a PhD candidate in 2016, based on her work developing an integrated, project-based ‘STEAM’ curriculum in a high school setting. She subsequently worked in the non-profit sector, where she developed an initiative focusing on innovation, systems change strategy and policy advocacy in education. Rebecca has led award-winning communities of over 4,500 members in the education and tech communities in WA. She has worked as an education consultant and researcher, providing expertise to schools looking to develop innovative education programs. Rebecca is passionate about equity, systems change and sustainable development in education.
